With Fatty Rabbit Hole out for a year, and most of my day-to-day work being focused on graphic design projects for my company, it made more sense this year to focus my Chalk It Up square on Massive Catapult – so without much of a plan, I threw myself to the ground and got to work. This was my seventh year participating!

I left a fair amount of the square barren of chalk this time, but I think it was a good idea. It saved me a lot of time that would have been spent on a useless detail, and I sort of liked how the robot and logo placard float over the gray. Part of the medium with this project is, of course, the concrete… why not use it?
