In June 2019, I started a new project: June Toons.

I doubt that I am the only artist out there who goes long amounts of time without actually practicing traditional art, so the idea behind this project was to keep it up by producing a drawing every day for June.

It’s funny how easy it is to slide into old habits; what I thought would be just a collection of quick doodles swiftly turned into an hour or so every day where I got “in the zone” and just had fun being creative. It felt good!

I hope to do more projects like this in 2019 and beyond. Thanks for checking it out!
