Februdoodle 2025

Here’s another Februdoodle – a project where I created a new illustration every day for the month of February 2025. There were no style or theme restrictions for this project, other than my own inability/lack of imagination!

A black and white illustration of a cartoon rabbit staring intently at his phone. His eyes are wide, his mouth is closed, and his nose is hanging down. He is slouched slightly, and he has a very concerned look on his face. The background is splattered with paint and has a dark streak going across the bottom, arcing up behind the rabbit. The word "Februdoodle" runs across the bottom in large, bubbly cartoon lettering.
An illustration of a small bear wearing a folded paper hat sticking out of the door on a large box, smiling and waving at the viewer. The box has doors around the other visible sides, each with a simple lock. The words "The Wild Box" are stacked vertically to the right of the bear. A burst of pastel confetti is bursting out of the box behind the bear. The hat is white, the bear is tan, the box is black, and the lettering is white with "wild" in multiple pastel colors. The background is a bold sea green.
An illustration of a black vase, drawn in a mostly flat style, with a large cartoon skull on it. A thin, white, halftone highlight goes down the left edge of the vase. There are two flowers that look like daises in the vase, one large and one smaller, with black stems and leaves hanging out of the pot. The petals are white, and the pollen is yellow. The background is a salmon red-orange.
An illustration of an eager-looking cartoon dog poking in from the left side of the image. He is leaning to the right in a pointed way, with short ears perked up, eyes open wide, and tongue hanging out of his mouth. He is black with a pink nose, collar, and tongue. There are two white lines indicating surprise/alertness coming from the back of his head. The background is yellow.
An illustration of a rat standing up in the middle of a giant maze, looking mildly puzzled and consulting a small map. The rat is black with white eyes, teeth, nose, ears, paws, and tail. The map is white and looks like it has been folded previously, but is otherwise devoid of detail. The background is blue with the maze drawn over it in black lines. A white halftone pattern lights up the horizon line.
An illustration of a mad scientist holding a flask of pink liquid above himself and giving it a shake. He is staring up at it with smiling, evil-looking frown. He has sky blue skin, large white eyes with black pupils, and a white fringe of hair around his bald head. He is wearing a white lab coat and black gloves. The liquid in the flask if swishing around, and bubbles can be seen in it. The background is purple.
An illustration of a gloved set of hands opening a silver dinner platter, revealing a white "2" sitting inside. To the left, a boxy, bright green creature (a Number Muncher, from a series of very old educational computer games), looks delighted to see it, with a big, open-mouthed smile and yellow lines coming off its head, indicating surprise. The background is a dirty orange, with a slight glow behind the platter.
An illustration of a rollercoaster where the first car is a dragon's head and the rest of the cars of the body. The car directly after the dragon is flying off the rails over a bump in the tracks, and the child in the car is having a blast while the adult is being thrown out. The cars and people are all colored plain white, the track and bushes below are in varying shades of blue-green, and the background is a light cyan.
An illustration of a cartoon woman holding a large concha up in one hand. The woman has a light complexion and medium-length brown hair with curls at the tips. She is wearing a long-sleeved green top and brown pants. Her eyes are closed in a contented look, she is smiling with her tongue out, as if she is tasting something good, and she has a mouthful of food in her cheek. She is leaning backward slightly. The concha has a large bite taken out of it and is emanating light. The woman is carrying a white bag (presumably filled with other pastries) in her other hand. The background is a pale yellow with a light-orange streak going diagonally across the bottom.
An illustration of a confused-looking Bigfoot (the mythological ape-like creature) holding out a tape measure and measuring his foot... only to find that it's not really that big. The perspective of the drawing puts the viewer extremely close to the tape measure and foot, with the rest of Bigfoot's body rapidly shrinking into the distance, making his head roughly the size of his big toe. There is a large question mark floating in the air next to his head. Bigfoot is drawn in black and white over a dirty tan background.
An illustration of a bucket being carried by a hand. The bucket is black with a happy smile on it. The hand is white with black lines for details, holding the bucket by a curved handle. The Bucket is filled with colorful shapes that are trailing out and to the right, tapering off. The background is a bright green, with a white paint spatter behind everything.
An illustration of a smiling cartoon T-Rex holding a red party cup. The T-Rex's nostrils are large and stick out from his head. His tail is standing up, but bent at the end, behind him. He is orange with turquoise plates going down his back. His eyes are yellow with turquoise irises, and he has dark orange spots around his head, body, and tail. Some of his yellow teeth are sticking out from his upper lip, and drool is coming down at the corner of his mouth. He is wearing a pale yellow shirt. The background is a bold pink with a purple ellipse at an angle behind the T-Rex.
An illustration of a chicken wearing a top hat, bowtie, and suit top with a cuffed shirt underneath, in the style of the Monopoly guy illustrations of old. The chicken has a slightly evil smile on its face. It is a very pale brown with yellow beak and legs. The top hat and suit are black, the cuffed undershirt is white, and the bowtie is red. The background is orange with a slight golden glow behind the chicken.
An illustration of a metal pipe with a small hole in it, leaking out a gas cloud. The word "fooosh" is in cascading block letters tumbling down over the cloud. The pipe is a dull gray and has a connecting gasket around the bottom, the gas cloud is a pale blue, the lettering is green, and the background is a pale yellow that fades to a green-blue color near the bottom. There is a very faint burst of white spray paint behind the area of the pipe that is leaking.
An illustration of a cartoon turtle suspended in the sky by a balloon. The balloon is tied around the turtle's mid-section. The turtle is smiling but looks a little oblivious. The balloon is a shiny red-orange. The turtle has a shiny blue shell with a hexagonal bump pattern on it, a pale blue underside, and his head, legs, and tail are a light green. The background is a sky that fades from sky-blue to white from top to bottom. There are white clouds scattered around the background.
An illustration of a cereal box and cereal bowl sitting amongst a swath of other breakfast foods. The box says "sugar o's" on it and has a depiction of a bowl of cereal. It is orange with yellow lettering. The bowl of cereal standing in front of it is filled to near overflowing with tan cereal O's, which are sparkling. The bowl itself is white with two blue stripes going around the top, near the rim, and a spoon sticking out on the right. In the background is a glass pitcher of milk. In the foreground is a glass of orange juice, two oranges, a cluster of grapes, a banana with banana slices on a small plate, a bottle of pills with three capsules resting nearby, a plate with a fried egg, a napkin with two pieces of toast, and a half of a grapefruit. The background is a glowing teal color that fades to a slightly darker color behind the cereal box.
An illustration of a man taking a bath. The bathwater is the only part of the bath that is visible. The man is sitting in the bath, looking down at his hand, which is holding some bubbles. His feet are sticking out at the other end of the water. The man has a light complexion, and his hair is a dark blue and covered in bubbles. There is a small red and blue toy submarine floating in the water between the man and his feet. The bathwater is blue with darker blue reflections and white rippled in it. The background is a light purple, with outlines of an inset with shampoos and soaps to the upper right.
An illustration of a strange figure sticking up out of a hole and looking very nervous. The figure is a stubby white shape with large eyes, a wide downturned mouth, worried-looking wrinkles on its forehead, and two small arms and hands fidgeting in front. Its eyes are red with white pupils. The hole is black on a bright red planet surface, and the background is black dotted with white and red stars.
An illustration of a large nose with a stream of mucus coming out. The stream falls down, twists up unnaturally, then arcs back downward again. At the apex of the arc is a small, round creature with a happy face, two stubby antennae, and arms and legs splayed out, riding the wave of snot. The nose has a light complexion, with redness around the nostril. The mucus stream is a bright green that gets lighter as it goes on. The creature is yellow with red eyes and mouth. It has tiny fangs in its mouth as well. The background is a light brown that fades to gold behind the creature.
An illustration of a slice of pizza. The pizza has gooey yellow cheese melting in drips down the edge. It has red slices of pepperoni, black olives, and green peppers strewn on top of the cheese. The crust is tan and has a slight texture to it. The pizza is casting a hard black shadow onto the background, which is a light blue plaid pattern.
An illustration of a twisted tree branch with birds perched on it going all the way around the spiral. The tree branch is black with white lines indicating texture. The birds are all the same shape and perched in the same orientation but descend in size as they go around the spiral to the smaller part of the branch. The background is a noisy light green with tree leaves drawn over it in a slightly darker green color.
An illustration of a cartoon dog flying a very deformed airplane, pulling a banner behind it that says "just stop" on it. The airplane is orange with a peach-colored front. The propeller is a little too small for the plane, and the plane is overall very stubby, with a large opening for the pilot. It has a pink peace sticker and a yellow happy face sticker on the back. The dog is green and pear-shaped. Its ears are trailing behind it in the wind, and it has its eyes shut. The banner is being pulled by a hook attached to a wire behind the plane, with the ends of the wire attached to the top and bottom of the banner. The banner is red with yellow lettering. The background is a sky blue that fades to near white at the bottom, and with bulbous white clouds drawn over top.
An illustration of a coffee mug filled to the top with coffee. On the mug is a cartoon sun with crazy spiral eyes and mouth open. Wispy steam is rising from the mug. The mug is white and is casting a brown shadow onto the background. The coffee is brown. The sun is a gold yellow with brown eyes and mouth. The background is a creamy beige.
An illustration of a marshmallow on a stick, with a small corner of it starting to roast/burn. The roasted portion has a small fire lit on it. The marshmallow has a face on it and is looking up at the flame, worried. The marshmallow is a light cream color, the burning spot is brown, the stick is gray, and the background is pink with a darker pink ellipse angled behind the marshmallow.
An illustration of a pint of milk with a straw stuck in it. The milk is actually "lizard milk" and features a small cartoon lizard giving a thumb-up on the front. The rest of the package is adorned with the usual sort of things found on a milk carton, except for a banner near the top that says "99% bug free". The carton is white with green ink. The straw is striped in white and blue and looks shiny. The background is yellow, with a hard black shadow from the milk carton and a smaller, skewed orange silhouette of the carton behind it.
An illustration of two deformed cartoon people posing with each other. The person on the left is a short, squat man. He has a light complexion, a long upturned nose, a round chin, a large mustache that arcs outward, and a small tuft of matching hair on top of his head. He is not smiling, and his eyes are closed. His outer arm is holding his shirt collar, and his inner arm is going behind the other person. His figure is thumb-like, and his body is arced away from the other person. He is wearing a green blazer and pale green collared shirt. The person on the right is a woman with a similar shape and pose, except she is much taller and thinner than the man. The woman has a pale complexion, a long upturned nose, thin eyebrows, a small round chin, and large lips with pink lipstick. She is wearing flowery earrings and a matching necklace. She is not smiling, and her eyes are closed. She has long hair that curves out from behind her neck. She is wearing a blue gown. She is holding a small purse on her outer arm, and has her inner arm behind the man. Both figures are spotted with a spray paint texture making their skin and clothes slightly darker. The background is a bright turquoise with a large sky-blue spray paint splatter directly behind the people.
An illustration of Sonic the Hedgehog. Sonic is flying backward through the air, a look of panic on his face, and his arms and legs sticking out. Rings are flying everywhere. An iPod with white earbuds is flying out from him too, the earbuds still connected to his ears. The scene is drawn with Sonic and the rings all in silhouette, with only vague outlines here and there, like the old iPod commercials from the 2000's. The background is a plain blue with a very slight glow, similar to Sonic's normal color.
An illustration of a robot with his head flying off, connected only by a large spring. The robot has a cylindrical head, torso, and hips. His torso and hips are connected via a large flexible chrome tube, and his arms are made of the same material, only with a much smaller diameter. The robot has one clamp hand visible. On his chest is a screen showing the words "game over" in bright blue. His face has X's for eyes and his mouth is a straight line of glowing teeth. Small sparks are visible around the spring. The robot is yellow, and the chrome is a shiny gray. The background is a rust color, with a lighter circle cut out behind the robot's upper body. The illustration looks faded and dirty like an old comic book.
