Inktober 2024 #18: Drive

The drawing is in black and white, and there is very little shading, outside of the darkness of the bottom of the cab, and the brightness from the windows.

Today's Inktober illustration was for the prompt "drive", and I'm pretty stoked about how it turned out!

I've never drawn this angle before, but we've all seen it - it's quite common in TV/film. One of the biggest criticisms I have for my own art is that I often shy away from more dynamic, energetic camera angles because it feels like it's going to turn out bad, be way more work, etc. I'm glad I ignored my inner voice today and just went for it. 😎

This was created in Procreate with an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, using the Procreate Pencil brush for sketching, the Syrup brush for linework, and the Soft air brush for some light shading.
