You've probably already heard, but the United States has finally decided to move forward, and we are doing so with President Barack Obama!
Congratulations to Mr. Obama, and to everyone who donated time or money to the campaign - you guys earned it. I feel better about my country already!
We've yet to see how the propositions on California's ballot will turn out, but I'm sure we'll find out soon.

Congrats to Joebama. Now the world won’t think were the racist country we were 40 years ago.
And hopefully we can further restore the other wounds Bush opened with so many other countries as well.
I’m not too concerned about our reputation as a racist nation. I don’t really think that’s a significant part of our image abroad.
But I *am* concerned about our government’s image that it abuses our citizen’s rights, locks up our enemies in secret prisons without hope of trial, and make unilateral decisions on foreign policy.
I’m glad Obama won, I think America made the right choice.
(I’ve noticed the numbers below ‘Marty Blog’, ‘4 8 15 16 23 42’ aren’t those the numbers from lost?)
I’m pretty happy Obama won. He seems smart, and looks like he’ll set the USA in a new direction.
I would have voted for him if I lived in the USA, and not Canada.
