Today's Drawrch illustration took me a while to get done - almost 3 hours in total, according to Procreate. I had a really hard time getting the shading right, and ended up changing course halfway through.
In the end, I was able to add some colorful flair to the image however, and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, even if it wasn't really what I'd originally intended it to be.
This was created in Procreate with an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, using the Procreate Pencil brush for sketching and the Soft air brush for gradients. I also used some brushes from True Grit Texture Supply: the Smooth Natural Nib brush for linework and the Grainy Dot Shader (45deg/light) for shading. These are from the Rusty Nib pack and the Beat Tones pack, respectively.
The photo I used as a reference for this drawing is from SketchDaily.
