This is my tenth illustration for this year's Inktober event, this one for the prompt "fortune".
I like how this one turned out, although I feel like I could mess around with the shading endlessly. These black and white images always have me second-guessing my contrast and values as I work. 😅
This was created in Procreate with an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, using the Procreate Pencil brush for sketching, the Inka brush for linework and blocking out shapes, and the Medium Nozzle spray paint brush for shading and texture.
