Inktober 2024 #12: Remote

An illustration of a sheep using a remote control, looking over his shoulder at a remote-controlled razer, which is shearing a stripe down its back. The sheep is large and round, with fluffy wool. It is looking back nervously. Its face and hands are a light purple, its wool is a light blue, and its eyes are a pale yellow. The stripe of sheared area is a bare pink with speckles. The remote-controlled razer is a small box with wheels and a grill on the front. The remote and razor both have a small antenna with a large round ball at the end. The background is a bold green with a darker splash of green streaking across.

Here's today's Inktober illustration, this time for the prompt "remote".

Looking at the rest of the prompts so far, I realize that this one was probably supposed to be "remote" like "far away from others/civilization", but I liked the idea of doing something with a remote control instead, and it was a good opportunity to break from the theme the "official" prompts seem to be laying out.

I almost drew this one as a hairy man shaving his own back, so consider yourself lucky that I settled on the sheep instead. 😆

This was created in Procreate with an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, using the Procreate Pencil brush for sketching, the Syrup brush for linework, and the Hartz brush for background texture.

If you'd like to see how I drew this one, you can watch the time-lapse below:
