Inktober 2024 #5: Binoculars

The man is holding them up with a pair of handlebars that extend below with a wobbly-looking apparatus. The man's eyes are large and green in the lenses of the binoculars. The background is a warm orange fade to light yellow behind the man.

Continuing to work from the "official" prompt list for Inktober 2024, here is my fifth illustration for the prompt "binoculars".

I enjoyed drawing and doing the linework for this one, but I'm not sure if I like how it turned out. I wanted to tell more of a story with the background, but I also sort of liked how wholesome the man's expression is, and didn't want to sully it by making him spy on people or something. 😆

As usual, this was created in Procreate with an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, using the Procreate Pencil brush for sketching, the Syrup brush for linework, and the Soft air brush for shading and background gradients.
