June Toons 2024 #10: Fresh Air

A cartoon illustration of a cat leaning out of a window to smell a flower. The cat is orange and shaded in a very simple way, with only a single shaft of shadow passing over its bottom quarter. Similarly, the entire scene has a parallel diagonal purple shadow across the bottom third, a pastel blue, and then a diagonal white at the top. The flower has large white petals and a gold center, with a long green vine leading it out away from the window.

For today's June Toons cartoon, I drew a cat leaning out the window to smell a flower. This is a small celebration I'm having for the end of my spring allergies (RIP cooler weather, though 😔).

This was created in Procreate with an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, using the Procreate Pencil brush for sketching and the Smooth Natural Nib brush for everything else. That one's from the Rusty Nib brush pack from True Grit Texture Supply.
