June Toons 2024 #11: Don’t Stop (Erasing)

Martin · 162 days (11:41 PM · Jun 11, 2024)
A cartoon illustration of a piece of paper that is folded with part of it facing the viewer, and an eraser erasing scribbles from its bottom half. The paper and eraser both have cartoon faces. The paper looks like it is enjoying the erasing a little too much, with its eyes rolled up slightly and its tongue hanging out. The eraser is staring a the paper with bugged out eyes and a concerned look. The paper is a very pale yellow and the eraser is pink. The image is set on a light blue background with a swish of lighter blue painted over the top.

This was a long day, so suitably, I had to make a pretty quick cartoon for June Toons. I like how it turned out though! 😆

This was created in Procreate with an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, using the Procreate Pencil brush for sketching, the Old Brush for the background swoosh, and the Smooth Natural Nib brush for linework. That one's from the Rusty Nib brush pack by True Grit Texture Supply.

If you'd like to see how I drew this one, you can watch the time-lapse below:
