Today's Februdoodle is of a polite little dog flying a plane with an important message trailing behind.
This was created in Procreate with an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, using the Procreate Pencil brush for sketching, the Syrup brush for linework, the Soft air brush for a little bit of shading, and the Inka brush for the clouds.

When I create Februdoodle illustration, I don't usually like copying and pasting large parts of the sketch, but this idea really called for it. I like making silly stuff like this! ðĪŠ
That's three weeks down, and only one to go, by the way.
This project has been speeding by! This was created in Procreate with an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, using the Procreate Pencil brush for sketching, the Rusty Nib 1 brush for linework, the Rough Dot Shader 45/Light brush for some light shading, and the Worn 1 Bold brush for background texture.
I've been wanting to make a Februdoodle illustration like the one I did of a paper airplane a few years ago for Inktober 2022 but I never really had a good idea for what the subject matter ought to be.
Today, I randomly got the idea to draw a pizza slice and as soon as I started drawing, I knew this was going to be similar. It's mostly just the isometric angle of the pizza slice and the hard black shadow, but it's pretty close, I'd say. And it sorta makes me hungry, too. ð

Today's Februdoodle illustration is a reflect of the last week and a half for me. I'm pretty tired of being sick right now... but thankfully it feels like it's finally going away again. ðĨī

Today's Februdoodle illustration is a little strange, but I like it that way.
Household duties coupled with some late-running work left me with not a lot of time to work on this, but I actually like that sometimes - it forces me to make choices and commitments that I might not otherwise make. To the art's benefit, more often than not!
Anyway, this was created in Procreate with an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, using the Procreate Pencil brush for sketching, the Syrup brush for a few fill assists, the Rusty Nib 1 brush for linework, and the Rough Dot Shader 45/Light brush for shading.
Today's Februdoodle illustration, for no reason at all, is a man in the bath. ð

I thought I had a simple idea for today's Februdoodle illustration - and I did! - but it took me so long to finish it. And I sorta think it needed even more work to really get it over the top, but it's late and I'm tired, and I'm done working on it.
This was created in Procreate with an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, using the Procreate Pencil brush for sketching, the Syrup brush for just about everything else, and the Soft air brush for some light background shading.

This afternoon we were out for a walk and when we got back, I noticed an odd smell near the side of the house. I asked my wife to come out and confirm my suspicion, and sure enough: gas leak!
PG&E is outside our house right now fixing it, as they have been for the last hour, and it's probably not going to be done for another hour.
So aaanyway... here's today's Februdoodle illustration. Happy Valentine's Day! ð
This was created in Procreate with an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, using the Procreate Pencil brush for sketching, the Rusty Nib 1 brush for linework, the Syrup brush for helping do fills, the Soft air brush and Rough Dot Shader 45/Light brush for shading, and the Fat Nozzle spray paint brush for background texture.
The Rusty Nib 1 brush and Rough Dot Shader 45/Light brush are from the Rusty Nib pack and the Beat Tones pack, by True Grit Texture Supply.

I was listening to a podcast while I was brainstorming for today's Februdoodle illustration, and the host was talking about how egg prices aren't really going down. We've had a massive shortage here as well, due to avian flu, and it got me thinking about what chickens might look like these days. And of course they look like the Monopoly guy now, right? ð
