Inktober 2024 #9: Sun

The sunbeam has speckles of dust glinting in the light.

I went extremely hard into cozy territory with today's Inktober illustration. 😸

I've drawn one like this before, for a past project, but I can't remember which one and I did not reference it for this one. I visited my mom today and had some fun with her cats though, so I was feeling this when it came time to draw something.

This was created in Procreate with an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, using the Procreate Pencil brush for sketching, the Syrup brush for linework, and the Soft and Medium air brushes for shading.
