June Tunes 2024 #2: Twinkie The Kid

A cartoon illustration of "Twinkie The Kid", a mascot used for Twinkie snack cakes. This version of Twinkie The Kid has him hunched over slightly and squinting at an unseen adversary. He has on his signature white cowboy hat and gloves, and a blue handkerchief with red heard pattern tied around his neck. He is holding a six shooter in his hand, pointed upward. Smoke is coming out of the barrel, as if the gun has just been fired.

Here's my second entry for June Toons - anyone remember this guy? It's Twinkie the Kid, but with a little more grit than the old days. 🤠

This was created in Procreate with an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, using the Procreate Pencil brush for sketching and the Soft air brush for shading. Additionally, I used the Smooth Natural Nib brush for linework, from the Rusty Nib brush pack by True Grit Texture Supply.
