Today's Inktober prompt was "castle" and, well, I didn't really feel like drawing a castle. My wife suggested doing something like a kid's pillow fort, and that gave me this idea: a kid sitting in his bedsheet fort, staying up late and reading a good book.

By the way, that's two weeks of Inktober done already - this project is flying by! 😎

I usually struggle with these action-word Inktober prompts, but for this one I had an idea right from the start. The prompt today is "rise", and so I drew some massive stone hands rising from the ground.

A dragon breathing fire is a little abstract for the prompt "spicey", but my son loves the book, Dragons Love Tacos, and this Inktober prompt reminded me of that. 🌮🔥🧑‍🚒

This is my fifth Inktober entry, for the prompt: "map".

I started this one early and still ended up finishing late - go figure! I'm glad I was able to create something a little interesting, though. Especially after doing a treasure map for prompt 3 ("path"). I couldn't believe prompt 5 was "map"! 🙃
