This is my seventeenth illustration for Drawrch!

I wanted to do another image with the Inka brush and some alternate color choices just to feel out that style a bit. And I'm liking it! This one also speaks to the idea of re-doing things you're not happy with; if you watch the time-lapse below, notice how much better my second pass at the hair looks!

This was created in Procreate with an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, using the Procreate Pencil brush for sketching and the Inka brush for everything else.

The photo I used as a reference for this drawing is from SketchDaily.

It took me a moment to like how this one turned out, but I really dig the colors - especially that light blue/green color as a highlight - and I feel like the proportions came out pretty good too, though maybe the eyes are just a tiny bit too big. The framing could be better too, I suppose.

This was created in Procreate with an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, using the Procreate Pencil brush for sketching and the Inka brush for linework/fills. I'm really liking the Inka brush for stuff like this, though I wish strokes had just a smidge less uniformity sometimes.

This is my fourteenth illustration for Drawrch!

I've always kind of liked this style but have never really attempted it before. It would've been a bit harder if I had drawn more than just the face, but I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. The Inka brush did a lot of heavy lifting for this one.

Here's my thirteenth illustration for Drawrch!

This one was a little bit of an experiment with the Flat brush, and my will to not go in and add detail lines at the end. The hair could be better, but I need to practice that more. Overall, I like how it turned out.

This was created in Procreate with an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, using the Procreate Pencil brush for sketching, and the Flat brush for the rest.

This is my twelfth illustration for Drawrch. I named it "Back in the Groove" because I felt like it was a good return-to-basics for me, and a good end to the weekend.

This was created in Procreate with an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, using the Procreate Pencil brush for sketching, the Syrup brush for linework, the Larapuna brush for shading/details, and the Soft air brush for a little smudging.

Here's my tenth illustration for Drawrch!

I liked this one better as a sketch. The lines/colors are interesting, but I'm not sure if I like how they all came together. I also wish it looked a little more like my reference photo, but I was trying to do it quickly, so that's how it goes.

Someday I should overlay the finished drawings on their reference photos and see how close I got. That might make for an interesting look into how I could do better with my initial sketches.

Anyway, this was created in Procreate with an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, using the Procreate Pencil brush for sketching, the Syrup brush for linework, and the Quoll brush, Soft air brush, and Splatter spray paint brush for background texture.

Here's my ninth illustration for Drawrch - or should I say, Draaaaaarghch?

Thought I'd go a little simpler for this one after almost missing yesterday's and getting done at around 11:40 PM!

This was created in Procreate with an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, using the Procreate Pencil brush for sketching, the Syrup brush for linework, and the Hartz brush for background texture.
