June Toons 2024 #24: Backpack

The backpack is a dark gray, and is covered in colorful buttons in yellow, pink, and bright blue, with emoticons, a peace sign, and other shapes. The background is a cool gray with a light lavender streak across it, and flicks of white spray paint.

Today's June Toons cartoon is about a heavy backpack. I wanted to channel the same energy as June Toons #13, taking some strong lines across the entire character to make an interesting drawing. It started off a little rough, but by the end, I found myself really enjoying working on this one.

This was created in Procreate with an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, using the Procreate Pencil brush for sketching, the Syrup brush for linework, and the Fat Nozzle and Flicks spray paint brushes for background texture.
