My twenty-sixth illustration for Februdoodle is a duckling wearing a fun human-headed inner tube.

I channeled all my years of watching DuckTales and reading Donald Duck/Uncle Scrooge comics for this one.

This was created in Procreate with an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, using the Procreate Pencil brush for sketching, the Syrup brush for linework, and the Leatherwood brush for background texture.

My twenty-fifth illustration for Februdoodle is a robot barista!

Would it truly be a drawing project for me if I didn't include a robot in there somewhere? I'm surprised it took me this long to squeeze one in there!

Created in Procreate with an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, using the Procreate Pencil brush for sketching and the Syrup brush for linework/fills.

My twenty-fourth illustration for Februdoodle is a rooster leaning up against a wall, waiting.

I'm barely making it under the wire today, so I wanted to keep this one simple. I'm happy with how the colors turned out though, and I feel like I'm getting a little more confident with my color choices.

As usual, this was created in Procreate with an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, using the Procreate Pencil brush for sketching, and the Syrup brush for linework/fills.

For my twenty-third Februdoodle illustration, I drew a tea bag who is not very happy about being dunked into the hot water!

This was created in Procreate with an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, using the Procreate Pencil brush for sketching, the Syrup brush for linework, the Soft air brush for some masking, and the Splatter spray paint brush for background texture.

My twenty-second illustration for Februdoodle is an Ice Cream Bar!

I'm sure I'm not the only out there who has fond memories of eating the old Chip 'n' Dale ice cream bars in the summer. The faces always ended up looking melty and droopy, and I couldn't tell you what the nose was. A knock-off M&M, maybe?

Anyway, I decided to draw my own knock-off version of that today. It turned out better than I thought it would, but it also took a lot more effort than I originally wanted to put in. Oh well.

As usual, this was created in Procreate with an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, using the Procreate Pencil brush for sketching, a slightly modified Mercury brush for linework, the Soft air brush for detailing, and the Quoll and Hartz brushes for texture.

My twenty-first illustration for Februdoodle is The Frog and the Scorpion.

I don't really like the story "The Scorpion and the Frog", and so I thought I'd remake it my own way. Nobody gets stung in this version.

This was created in Procreate with an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, using the Procreate Pencil brush for sketching, the Syrup brush for linework, and the Hartz brush and Splatter spray paint brush for background texture. I'm posting each finished illustration at my website.

My twentieth illustration for Februdoodle is... a thoughtful monkey.

Not pictured: the 20 minutes I sat staring at a blank canvas, trying to think of something to draw. I hate it when I can't think of anything!

As always, this was created in Procreate with an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, using the Procreate Pencil brush for sketching, the Syrup brush for linework, and the Hartz and Larapuna brushes for background texture.

My nineteenth illustration for Februdoodle is a Painted Lady butterfly.

We took a short road trip to a local nature conservancy today. It is home to a large wetland area where a lot of birds spend their time - primarily ducks, but also cranes and sandpipers.

There were a few butterflies as well, but unfortunately most of them were dead. We saw one live one hanging out on an observation deck, and then watched it fly down into the water, where it got stuck and couldn't get out. It felt bad just watching it struggle.

As usual, this was created in Procreate with an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, using the Procreate Pencil brush for sketching, and the Syrup brush for linework and coloring.

My eighteenth illustration for Februdoodle is... a tostada! I drew this because we had tostadas for dinner, and they were yummy!

This was created in Procreate with an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, using the Procreate Pencil brush for sketching, a slightly modified Mercury brush for linework, and the Hartz brush and Splatter spray paint brush for background texture.

My seventeenth illustration for Februdoodle is a mouse standing up for himself against a giant cat: Enough!

This was created in Procreate with an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, using the Procreate Pencil brush for sketching, the Syrup brush for linework, and the Hartz brush, Splatter spray paint brush, and Soft air brush for effects and background texture.
