For today's Inktober prompt, "hooray", I thought I might draw a happy vampire finally catching a meal and quietly celebrating it. So I did!

This was created in Procreate with an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, using the Procreate Pencil brush for sketching and the Inka brush for everything else. Nothing complicated for this one.

I wasn't quite sure what to do for today's Inktober prompt, "lady". I might've done Lady Godiva, but I saw another artist's take on that last night as the first illustrations for the prompt started rolling in and didn't want to be too same-y.

So I spent some time deliberating in front of my empty canvas and eventually landed on the idea of doing a riff on the old space girl pin-up posters from decades ago.

This was created in Procreate with an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, using the Procreate Pencil brush for sketching, the Inka brush for linework, the gouache brush for shading, and the Burst and Flicks spray paint brushes for texture. I also used the Syrup brush a bit to make some of the smaller fills easier.

Today's Inktober prompt was "flimsy", and I thought it'd be a great excuse to draw a heavy-looking robot with some rather flimsy legs. 🤖

For today's Inktober prompt, "toss", my first inclination was to do a picture of someone puking, but the more I thought about it, the less I wanted to do that. Then, as I tossed that idea, this idea struck me. 😉

I probably could have done this a little better, but I think it gets the idea across.

Today's Inktober prompt was "rescue", and I dug into my comic ideas notes and pulled out one I'd thought of recently while I was driving around town. Probably would've been a little more successful as a multi-panel comic as I'd originally intended, but I think it works well enough with one. 😄

Today Inktober prompt was "mystical" and I had a really hard time with this one. Initially I wanted to just draw a picture of Goemon, the "mystical ninja", but when it came time to actually draw, I just didn't feel like I'd do the guy justice.

After a lot of sitting and thinking, I came up with the idea of a portal over some spooky candles. I wasn't feeling particularly inspired though, and I feel like it shows, but it's done now and sometimes that's just how these things go.

For today's Inktober prompt, "panic", I drew a picture of a chicken freaking out over a fallen acorn, like Chicken Little, Chicken Licken, or Henny Penny, depending on where you're from. The sky is falling!

Today's Inktober prompt was "ogre", and I had a hard time coming up with something to draw. Partly because a small part of me just wanted me to draw Shrek (and the rest of me really didn't), and partly because I just don't draw stuff like this much, and so nothing obvious was coming to mind.

I did some image searching (which, thanks to AI slop, is absolutely dreadful now) and most everything there had ogres looking like larger orcs, which didn't seem right. Wikipedia defined ogres as large, people-eating people, which also felt odd.

I settled on the idea of a hulking fantasy-ish orc-ish ogre doing something dainty, like having tea. It's fine!
